Tabriz Petrochemical will be offered on Wednesday as the six hundred thirty-first company on the Tehran Stock Exchange. Seyed Noorollah Mirashrafi, the CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of this company, referred to the nominal production capacity of this complex, which reaches 870,000 tons of various polymer and chemical products annually.

Progress in Meeting Domestic Market Needs and Superiority in Producing Special Grades

Mirashrafi stated that Tabriz Petrochemical is the first producer of polystyrene products in Iran and currently supplies over 60% of the required resistant polystyrene and 40% of ordinary polystyrene for the domestic market. This complex also holds a leading market position in the country for producing and supplying special polymer grades such as polyethylene 3840 and 5030.

Export Performance and Supply Chain Management

Mirashrafi referred to the export performance of Tabriz Petrochemical, stating that despite commitments to supply products on the commodity exchange, about 30% of the production of this complex is exported to 17 foreign countries. This indicates the export capacity and presence of Tabriz Petrochemical in international markets.

The CEO of Tabriz Petrochemical emphasized the importance of supply chain management and feed transportation, announcing that 100% of the shares of "Tajarat Navak Asia" have been purchased, and this company is now fully owned by Tabriz Petrochemical. This action will help manage the feed supply chain better.

Environmental Actions and Development Plans

Mirashrafi also discussed the actions taken in the field of the environment and the development of the complex's activities, stating that a certificate of non-pollution has been received from the Environmental Protection Organization, and an exemption from the 30-kilometer radius limitation for implementing development plans has been obtained from the government board.

Regarding the latest status of Tabriz Petrochemical's development plans, he mentioned that the project to complete the polypropylene granulation unit is 88% physically complete, and the project for providing sustainable electricity for development plans is 92% complete, with both projects expected to be operational in December.

Wastewater Treatment and Heavy Polyethylene Projects

Mirashrafi referred to the industrial wastewater treatment project, which is 94% physically complete and designed for a capacity of 15 million cubic meters. The first phase of this project, with a capacity of 8 million cubic meters, will come online during the Fajr decade.

Additionally, the heavy polyethylene project has reached 80% physical progress, and the necessary financial and liquidity resources have been secured without challenges by the company. Finally, Mirashrafi stated that a resolution for allocating $79 million in facilities for the EPS project has also been received from the National Development Fund.
