Saeed Tavakoli, the CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company, at the third meeting to address the challenges of operator companies with type 2 contracts, emphasized the necessity of establishing a service desk for operators in all provinces. He stated: "The volume of gas saved due to the services of operator companies and the value of savings certificates traded on the energy exchange demonstrate the strategic importance of this sector and will clarify the future outlook of this field."
Emphasis on Identifying High-Consumption Customers
Tavakoli further stated that all operator companies must diligently and with maximum focus pursue the identification of high-consumption customers and the implementation of optimization plans. He also emphasized the need to evaluate the actions of operator companies and announced that if necessary, a dedicated meeting will be held to present the performance reports of these companies. In this meeting, each organization can explain its performance in the form of a presentation, clip, or motion graphic.
Addressing Issues and Problems of Operator Companies
The CEO of the National Iranian Gas Company also stated that addressing the issues and problems of operator companies should not be delayed by the formation of meetings. If there is any ambiguity or issue in the work process, the colleagues from the Carbon and Energy Management will specifically follow up on the matters. He also emphasized the necessity of activating the service desk for operators in the gas administration areas and called for utilizing the capacities of public relations, governorates, and media for informing and raising awareness in this regard.
Unveiling of Smart Gas Bills
Tavakoli continued by referring to the unveiling of a new mechanism for gas bills and stated that using artificial intelligence technology, high-quality and accurate predictive bills have been designed for customers. These bills allow customers to see their consumption analysis and understand how much savings they need to reduce their consumption compared to the same period last year. He emphasized the necessity of proper communication regarding this valuable service and added: "This communication should be done alongside the issued bills so that customers can benefit from these services."
