Ramazanali Sangdevini, a member of the Energy Commission of the Parliament, reported on the round-the-clock efforts of oil industry workers to rebuild the damaged facilities and stated that despite the damage inflicted on important oil and gas facilities during the recent war, the Ministry of Oil prioritized the reconstruction and revival of lost capacities from the very beginning.

Importance of Rebuilding Facilities

Sangdevini emphasized that the reconstruction of oil and gas facilities is not just a technical measure, but is directly related to the country's energy security. He added: "Every refinery unit that re-enters the cycle means an increase in production and processing capacity and reduces pressure on other facilities." This indicates the strategic importance of the actions taken in this sector.

Mobilization of Domestic Capacities

A member of the Energy Commission of the Parliament pointed to one of the strengths of the Ministry of Oil and said: "Mobilizing domestic capacities and utilizing the expertise of Iranian specialists and companies for the reconstruction of facilities demonstrates the technical and engineering capabilities of the oil industry in facing difficult conditions." This issue plays a significant role in reviving the vital infrastructure of the oil industry.

According to Sangdevini, the return of gas refining capacities will be one of the key components for managing this winter. Any amount of damaged capacity that re-enters the cycle before the peak consumption will give the Ministry of Oil and the National Gas Company more flexibility in managing the network and supplying gas to households, power plants, and industries.

Simultaneous Resource Management

Sangdevini also emphasized that winter management should not be limited to the reconstruction of refineries and said: "Production management, liquid fuel storage, readiness of the transmission and distribution network, major repairs, and consumption management should also be pursued simultaneously." These matters, alongside the round-the-clock efforts of oil and gas industry workers to rebuild the damaged facilities, signify the preservation of the country's energy security.
