Fatemeh Mohajerani today, in a press conference, emphasized the need to manage existing resources in light of gasoline import restrictions and said: "The government is working to prevent gasoline smuggling through various plans."

Fuel Card Identification Plan

Mohajerani added: "The identification of station cards to combat gasoline smuggling is underway, and this plan will gradually expand to various stations and within cities." She also noted that the government's actions in this regard are serious and emphasized: "Which country would accept to strive for gasoline supply under difficult conditions and despite the damages it has suffered, while at the same time witnessing its smuggling?"

Reduction in Gasoline Consumption and Its Effects

Mohajerani, referring to the reduction in gasoline consumption in the country, expressed hope that this trend would continue and said: "Now that we are no longer dependent on gasoline imports, this achievement has been made with the cooperation and support of the people and deserves appreciation."

Issuance of Oil Certificates

She also referred to the country's extensive activities in various fields and stated that one of the solutions to energize construction projects is the issuance of oil certificates. These certificates will be issued soon and can be offered to contractors. Additionally, the National Iranian Oil Company is obligated to deliver crude oil to the buyers of these certificates.

Mohajerani continued: "The government has a plan to provide up to 100 trillion tomans of raw materials for delivery to executive bodies and to energize construction projects, especially in the road sector, which has also been approved."
