He mentioned the advance payment of $100 million proposed by the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil, adding: "This amount can greatly assist in advancing the plan and covering part of its costs." Increase in Physical Progress of the Project
Balkhari emphasized: "With the necessary financial resources secured, there is readiness to increase the physical progress of the project by 20 to 25 percent within a month, and a significant leap in the execution of operations is expected in the next two to three weeks." These comments come as the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil, on Tuesday (October 21), along with Arsalan Zarei, the governor of Bushehr, and Mousa Ahmadi, the head of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, visited the damaged South Pars refineries and the Jam and Persian Gulf Energy Petrochemical complexes.
Review of the Reconstruction Process of the Refineries
During this visit, the board, by attending the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth South Pars refineries, examined the actions taken to restore the damaged sections of these refineries. These refineries, as one of the most important centers for natural gas production in the country, play a crucial role in meeting energy needs, and their reconstruction could have a significant impact on Iran's oil and gas industry.
Ultimately, the possibility of achieving higher production capacities and improving the current situation with appropriate financing and continuous follow-up by the officials of the Ministry of Oil can be prioritized as a main agenda item.
