The President, emphasizing the importance of strategic and technical cooperation among the member countries of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), stated that special attention should be paid to the two areas of "governance and strategic management" and "technical-engineering operations." These remarks were made in light of the need to strengthen economic foundations and increase international interactions in the energy sector.
Focus on Gas Market Stability
The President continued his remarks by addressing the issue of gas market stability, stating: "In the current situation, strengthening the stability of global gas markets is of high importance." He added that GECF member countries should cooperate with each other to increase the volume of natural gas trade at regional and global levels. This not only can help improve the economic situation of gas-producing countries but can also have positive impacts on global energy security.

Joint Investments in the Gas Value Chain
The President also emphasized the development of joint investments in the gas value chain. According to him, these investments can include the areas of exploration, production, transmission, and distribution of gas, and given the high capacities available in GECF member countries, positive results can be achieved. Member countries should strategically engage in this area to benefit from the economic and social advantages arising from these collaborations.
In this regard, the President urged member countries to identify the necessary solutions to improve and strengthen cooperation while examining existing challenges. This could lead to the creation of a stronger network of international cooperation in the energy sector, ultimately contributing to greater stability in gas markets and increasing the economic productivity of member countries.
