Mohammad Alahdad, the CEO of Tavanir, during his visit to Fars province and inspection of the southern dispatch center and the electrical distribution management of region four in Shiraz, announced a 6-fold increase in the power supply to petrochemical complexes. This action is aimed at ensuring a sustainable energy supply needed for industries and providing the necessary conditions for the continuity of production units.
Power Grid Preparedness for Winter
Alahdad, referring to the position of Fars province in the national electricity exchange network, announced that the transmission lines and substations along the south to north route are at a high level of technical readiness. Repair, renovation, and strengthening of the equipment in this route have been prioritized in the plans of the electricity industry. He also stated that through a series of technical and operational measures, they have managed to increase the power supply to petrochemical plants by 6 times.

Construction of Goyim Substation and Voltage Increase in the Network
The CEO of Tavanir referred to the construction and commissioning of the Goyim substation within 40 days and emphasized the necessity of accelerating the implementation of projects needed for the network. He also announced the pursuit of a plan to increase the voltage level of the city's electricity network from 11 to 20 kilovolts. This program aims to reduce technical limitations of the network, improve power quality, and increase the stability of the distribution network.
Given the dependency of petrochemical industry production processes on energy, ensuring a stable power supply to petrochemical complexes, especially in winter, is considered an effective factor in preventing production limitations and reducing the risk of industrial unit shutdowns. In this regard, another part of the electricity industry's plans is dedicated to preparing the network to withstand the cold season. With increased energy consumption in some regions of the country during winter, the capacity to transfer electricity between different areas becomes more significant.
The transmission lines and substations along the south to north electricity route have been prioritized, and repairs and upgrades of the equipment in this route are on the agenda. The goal of these actions is to maintain network stability and increase the capability to transfer electricity to areas that face increased demand during the cold months.
Ahmadreza Khosravi, the CEO of Shiraz Power Distribution Company, also provided a report on the status of the network covered by this company. According to Khosravi, Shiraz Power Distribution Company, as the fourth largest electricity distribution company in the country, is responsible for supplying electricity to the metropolitan city of Shiraz and nine surrounding counties. Among the programs being pursued to maintain the stability of the regional electricity network are the implementation of preventive maintenance, continuous monitoring of the network, development and strengthening of equipment, and readiness of operational teams to address potential incidents.
