Ramin Hatami, CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company, announced at a meeting to follow up on the gas flaring collection projects in Aghajari that these projects, which had been halted at one point, have been reactivated with a reassessment of priorities and cooperation between the National Iranian South Oil Company, the Persian Gulf Bid Boland Gas Refinery, and contractors, accelerating their implementation process.
Details of the Gas Collection Projects
Hatami noted that a significant portion of the projects has now reached the final stages, and according to the planning, their launch will begin in November in phases. These projects are designed to collect gas flaring from the Aghajari field, and upon their completion, it will enable the collection of approximately 130 to 140 million cubic feet of gas daily.

Economic and Environmental Implications
The CEO of the National Iranian South Oil Company emphasized the importance of these projects, stating: "The launch of these projects will create significant economic value and will also be effective in supplying the gas needed by the country during the cold months of the year." He added that the goal is for the stations nearing operation to enter the production cycle in December with intensified operations to provide greater gas collection capacity for the country during the cold months.
Hatami also referred to the reduction of gas flaring and the creation of opportunities for the economic utilization of associated gases, stating: "The implementation of these projects will not only help reduce gas flaring but will also facilitate more effective use of these resources and contribute to environmental preservation."
