Mohammad Eslami, Vice President and Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, at the ceremony commemorating National Standard Day, emphasized the scientific capacities and creativity of Iranian youth, stressing the necessity of achieving the top position in science and technology in the world. Eslami said: “We are on par with developed countries in nuclear sciences and technologies, and the opposition to Iran's access to this technology does not change the reality of the country's scientific capabilities.”

Opposition and the Reality of the Country's Scientific Capabilities

Mohammad Eslami continued by referring to the excuses made regarding nuclear technology, adding: “These excuses are merely tools to counter Iran's progress.” According to him, localizing strategic equipment in the country's industries can contribute to the growth and development of nuclear technology. Eslami also referred to the recent attacks on the country's industrial and refinery infrastructure, stating that enemies targeted parts of the industries that were responsible for controlling industrial processes and precision instruments based on nuclear technology.

Localization of Equipment and Youth Empowerment in the Nuclear Industry

Eslami stated that the Atomic Energy Organization has been able to localize sanctioned equipment according to global standards and provide it to various industries. He noted that the average age of specialists in this field is around 35 years, and he regarded youth empowerment as very key in achieving nuclear accomplishments. According to Eslami, adherence to standards and quality is fundamental to the activities of the Atomic Energy Organization, which has been recognized as the top executive body in the 1404–1405 period and has been praised by the Head of the National Standard Organization.

The Vice President emphasized that standards should not be limited to goods and services but should encompass all processes and performances. Given that Iran has high potentials in nuclear technology, Eslami stressed the necessity of paying attention to standards and quality in this field.
