Mohammad Eslami today, Tuesday, October 21, at the National Standard Day commemoration, pointed out the scientific, intellectual, and managerial capacities of the country, stating: The Iranian nation deserves to achieve the top position in science and technology. He added: Throughout history, science and technology have emerged from Iran, and the capacity for thought, creativity, and managerial ability of Iranians is an endless resource.

Iran's Position in Nuclear Sciences

Eslami emphasized Iran's position in nuclear sciences and technologies, stating: We are on par with developed countries in nuclear sciences and technologies, and this is a fact. He said: The fact that some do not like or accept that Iran possesses nuclear technology does not change the reality of the country's scientific capabilities. We have not done anything wrong, and if they do not raise the issue of nuclear bombs, they have nothing else to say.

Impacts of Attacks on Infrastructure

Eslami, referring to the attacks on the country's infrastructure, stated: Today we are present in all areas in the nuclear country. All the industries that were bombed, including sensitive points of industries, were targeted by both Israel and the United States, including sensitive processes in industries, refineries, petrochemicals, steel, and various industries. They targeted all those points that control processes and have nuclear precision instruments. They aimed there to disrupt the processes in terms of selection and stability.

He continued: They neither provide these equipment and products to Iran nor repair them. The Atomic Energy Organization has localized and produced all this equipment with modern standards and has made it available to industries. The head of the Atomic Energy Organization emphasized that nuclear technology and its achievements belong to the people of Iran, stating: Nuclear technology is the technology of life, power, and progress, and the brave youth of the country are making strides in the development of this technology through their scientific efforts.

Eslami added: The average age of colleagues who achieve these accomplishments in various scientific and technological fields is about 35 years. This indicates the capacity of the country's youth and the valuable opportunity that has been provided for their participation in scientific advancement.

He emphasized the necessity of continuing the development of technologies and said: Scientific and technological achievements must be continuously updated based on appropriate structures and mechanisms and continue the path of progress.

The head of the Atomic Energy Organization considered standards and quality as fundamental pillars of the activities of the Atomic Energy Organization and emphasized: Without standards, we can never reach the desired position. Standards must be comprehensive and all-encompassing and should not be limited to goods and services; rather, it should also encompass processes, performances, and the proper use of capacities.

Eslami stressed the necessity of improving quality, developing standards, and utilizing the scientific and technological capacities of the country, stating that this approach is a foundation for strengthening industrial capability and continuing Iran's progress at the frontiers of knowledge.
