Mohammad Amir, spokesperson for the Article 90 Commission of the 12th Parliament, commented on the situation of the oil refineries in this region, referring to his recent trip with some representatives to Bushehr. This trip followed recent attacks on Iran's refinery facilities, which raised significant concerns, especially regarding energy security and fuel supply.
Damages from attacks on refineries
Amir stated: "Members of the Article 90 Commission, considering their oversight duties, visited the South Pars complex in Assaluyeh. The refineries that were hit by missiles from the United States and Israel had many phases out of operation. However, a considerable part of this work has been compensated, but we have not yet reached the desired point."

Challenges in energy supply during winter
The spokesperson for the Article 90 Commission of the 12th Parliament also referred to the possibility of fuel and energy shortages in the upcoming winter and autumn, adding: "For this reason, we are facing a tough winter ahead in terms of energy supply. We definitely need the cooperation and savings of the people to resolve this issue. We hope that with the cooperation and savings of the people, we can see the winter through successfully."
Oil refineries, as one of the most important economic and industrial arteries of the country, play a crucial role in supplying petroleum products and supporting various sectors of society. These facilities are not only vital economically but also meet the daily needs of millions of Iranians.
Consequences and social concerns
Attacks on refineries and the damages inflicted on these facilities have created a chain of fears regarding energy security and fuel supply. People are facing increased fuel costs and potential problems in energy supply during the cold seasons. This situation can have negative impacts on daily life and industrial activities.
According to Amir's statements, reconstruction efforts at the refineries are underway, but there is still a need for more time and resources to reach optimal conditions. It seems that the continuity of refinery operations and fuel supply has become a serious challenge for the country.
