Isfahan Refinery ranks third among refineries processing crude oil in the country's gasoline production. Gholamreza Bagheri-Dizaj, the CEO of this refinery, announced in a recent press conference that this refinery produces an average of 12 million liters of gasoline daily, with a capacity of 430,000 barrels per day, accounting for about 25% of the country's fuel production. All gasoline produced by this refinery meets Euro 4 standards.

Development and Improvement of Fuel Quality

Bagheri-Dizaj emphasized the importance of resource management and the implementation of development plans, referring to the new strategies of this organization. The execution of strategic projects aimed at addressing energy imbalance and enhancing fuel quality is underway. This refinery is striving to reduce the timeline for implementing infrastructure projects using domestic resources and the capabilities of shareholders.

ARFCC Project and Increase in Production Capacity

The CEO of Isfahan Refinery discussed the ARFCC project, which is being implemented to improve gasoline quality, stating: By relying on process engineering and utilizing domestic capabilities, the execution time of this project has been reduced from four years to two years. This project is currently 28% complete and is expected to enter the production cycle by 2029. Upon completion of this project, 8 million liters will be added to the gasoline production capacity and 2 million liters to the production of high-quality diesel fuel in the country.

Environmental Challenges and Water Supply

Bagheri-Dizaj also referred to the challenges of improving product quality and prioritizing operational needs. In terms of water resource management, 40% of the refinery's water consumption is supplied from urban wastewater treatment, and this refinery will soon achieve complete self-sufficiency in its water supply needs. By implementing these programs, Isfahan Refinery aims to protect shareholders' investments while demonstrating its positive impacts on the fuel basket and quality standards of the country.
