Hossein Abdoli, the manager of the National Oil Products Distribution Company in the Shahroud region, pointed out the fuel supply situation in the eastern corridor of the country, stating that this area serves a population of 800,000 and passing travelers. Abdoli added that despite infrastructural limitations for the construction of CNG stations, the consumption of this fuel in the region has seen an average growth of 1.7% following the adjustment of the third gasoline price, and the fuel supply network is providing services steadily.

Active CNG Stations and New Projects

Currently, 41 active CNG stations in the Shahroud region are serving the public. Additionally, an agreement has been issued for the construction of a new CNG station in the city of "Kalateh Khij" in Shahroud. Abdoli noted that the new stations "Aseman Kabir" and "Baradaran Mirakhouri" will soon be added to this network. Particularly, the construction of the Baradaran Mirakhouri station in a record time of 99 days demonstrates a serious commitment to upgrading fuel supply infrastructure in this area.

Fuel Supply Measures in Winter

Regarding fuel supply measures in the winter season, Abdoli stated that the process of allocating fuel for health, medical, and production centers is being carried out based on the announced quotas. Additionally, specific quotas have been set and are being allocated for industrial and agricultural units that require liquid fuel in the cold season. For subscribers who are likely to experience power outages, the registration process in the "SADF" system for supplying fuel for diesel generators is underway.

Abdoli emphasized that the plan for supplying kerosene to villages without gas has been finalized, and the required fuel for these areas will be supplied without interruption. Also, regarding the status of gasoline consumption after the fuel price adjustment, he mentioned that although a decrease in consumption has been observed in this sector, due to the high volume of traveler traffic in Shahrivar, a precise assessment of changes will require more time.

Finally, Abdoli discussed the free dual-fuel conversion plan for public vehicles, stating that the process of converting internet taxi vehicles to dual-fuel has been implemented in the Shahroud region, and applicants can register their requests by visiting the gcr.niopdc.ir system to convert their vehicles to dual-fuel.
