Halliburton has secured a multi-year contract from Eni to provide drilling, construction, and completion services for the development of the Cronos gas field in the deep waters off the coast of Cyprus.
Contract Details
This contract includes drilling and development wells in Block 6 of Cyprus's exclusive economic zone in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Halliburton will provide well services in a manner that facilitates the execution of the drilling campaign. These services include drilling fluids, directional drilling, cementing, surface well testing, and piping, along with Halliburton's LOGIX automation and remote operations technologies.

Halliburton's Role in Cronos Development
This contract contributes to Halliburton's expanding role in the eastern Mediterranean region and aids in the development of the Cronos gas field. Jean-Marc Lopez, Halliburton's Senior Vice President for Europe, Eurasia, and Sub-Saharan Africa, stated that this contract represents Halliburton's sustainable relationship with Eni and the company's ability to provide integrated solutions for complex developments in deep waters.
