Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company continues its capability in oil and gas production while maintaining sustainable production under wartime conditions. Ali Akbar Hafezi-Nia, the CEO of this company, stated that oil and gas production has continued uninterrupted and that the capacity in the Mansourabad field has been increased by 15,000 barrels per day.
Stabilizing Production with Pipeline Implementation
Hafezi-Nia announced the implementation of a 30-kilometer pipeline of 6 and 8 inches in less than four months. Collecting Associated Gases and Managing Oil Transfer
The CEO of Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company also referred to the initiation of four contracts for collecting associated gases, stating that these projects have begun in the regions of Bibi Hakimeh, Golkhari, Rag-Sefid, and Gachsaran. In the Gachsaran section, the collection of approximately 20 million cubic feet of gas began in December, and the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company is responsible for executing this section.
He added that a joint task force has been formed to manage the transfer of oil from Gureh to storage tanks, as the company seeks to improve the processes for transferring oil to the Petropars Asia tanks. This company has strategic tanks with a capacity of about 4 million barrels of oil and is currently taking preventive and corrective actions to address existing issues.
Social Responsibility and Interaction with Local Communities
Hafezi-Nia mentioned the company's shift in approach regarding social responsibility, stating that we consider local communities not just stakeholders but "hosts" of the oil industry. In recent years, this company has undertaken actions such as repairing and resurfacing shared oil and public roads, developing schools, and distributing livelihood packages in four provinces: Khuzestan, Bushehr, Fars, and Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad.
The operational scope of Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company includes the production of oil, gas, and liquefied gas, as well as the transfer of produced oil from the southern oil-rich regions.
