Hamid Bord, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, reported the company's ability to maintain oil production despite challenges and security threats. He referred to the unequal war and pressures from sanctions and bombing of oil facilities, emphasizing that Iran's oil industry has always played a key role in the country's economy.

Continuing Production in Difficult Conditions

Bord further stated that despite all difficulties, Iran's oil production remains in a better position compared to neighboring countries. He clarified that oil production in the fields continues, and even in cases where fluctuations are observed in some fields, these fluctuations are due to the precise and intelligent planning of the National Iranian Oil Company.

Refuting Rumors and Effective Management

The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company also dismissed rumors about pipeline bursts and tank explosions due to the pressure of the maritime blockade, stating: "These analyses are completely untechnical and impractical." Bord emphasized that with over a hundred years of experience in Iran's oil industry, these issues are well manageable, and currently, oil production and exports are stable. Additionally, the supply chain for petrochemical feedstock is fully under control.

New Records in Oil and Gas Production

Bord noted new records in oil and gas production, mentioning that in the past two years, there has been an increase of over 200,000 barrels in oil production. He also announced that last winter, gas production reached one billion and 100 million cubic meters per day. This level of production requires high costs, and Bord urged the public to help maintain this production by conserving energy.

Associated Gas Collection and Development Plans

Hamid Bord referred to one of the ongoing challenges in the oil industry regarding the management of associated gases, stating: "The plan for collecting associated gases is very important to us." With the efforts made, the amount of collected associated gas has increased from 5 million cubic meters to 15 million cubic meters, and plans are underway to collect an additional 21 million cubic meters by the end of this year. These projects are being carried out in collaboration with the private sector.

Bord also announced the launch of a new project to collect 200 million cubic feet of associated gas and referred to development plans in the West Karun fields as well as the collection of associated gases in offshore fields. He stated that good news in this area will be published soon.
