Keramat Veys-Kermani, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company, elaborated on the fuel distribution process in the country during a visit to the Rey oil depot. He noted the high volume of fuel distribution in the country, stating that on June 13, 2025, a historic record for gasoline distribution reached an unprecedented 204 million liters. This record reflects the round-the-clock efforts of oil industry workers to meet the country's fuel needs.

The Role of Facilities and Pipelines in Fuel Supply

Veys-Kermani further referred to the extensive network of pipelines and oil product transfer facilities, adding: "The pipelines and pumping stations of the Rey oil depot transfer fuel from production sources to various parts of the country, especially Tehran, Alborz, and the northern strip. Despite attacks on these infrastructures, operational pressures, and high consumption, fuel supply continues without the slightest interruption."

The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company emphasized that responding to the high fuel demand in the capital requires precise management of tanker traffic, refining and distribution activities, risk management, and continuous support. This management becomes even more critical in crisis situations and after attacks on oil facilities.

Optimization and Relocation of Facilities

Veys-Kermani also pointed out the necessity of optimizing and relocating some storage facilities, stating: "Any decision regarding the relocation, development, or structural change of vital fuel supply facilities requires precise expert site selection, funding, and the establishment of standard alternative infrastructures to ensure the stability of fuel supply to the capital is not jeopardized."

Ali Ahmadipour, the CEO of the Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunications Company, also referred to the large volume of fuel transfer before the enemy's attack during this meeting. He reminded that previously about 92 to 93 million liters of products were entering the Rey oil depot daily. After the enemy's attack and the temporary halt of the transfer flow, relying on the anticipated operational scenarios and the unwavering will of the operational and operational colleagues, the connection of the lines was restored in less than 72 hours, and the fuel transfer operations have now returned to 70% of the pre-incident capacity.

This report demonstrates the determination and will of all oil industry employees to meet the country's fuel needs and emphasizes the importance of facilities and pipelines in this process. Maintaining the stability of the energy supply chain and restoring damaged facilities are among the priorities of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in the current situation.
