The "Car-Free Day" initiative is being implemented to reduce fuel consumption and promote the use of public transportation for employees of the Ministry of Oil. Sedigheh Khazaei, Deputy for Management Development and Human Capital of the Ministry of Oil, announced that starting from Saturday (September 28), all managers and employees of the Ministry of Oil and its affiliated companies in Tehran are required to use public transportation to commute to work one day a week. This measure is especially mandatory for those who have a company car in Tehran to utilize public transportation on Saturdays.
