The Yemen Army has attacked the oil facilities of Aramco in eastern Saudi Arabia using several missiles. These attacks led to the activation of alarm sirens by the Saudi Civil Defense Organization in the eastern region of the country. The attack also targeted King Khalid Airport in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
Details of the Attack on Oil Facilities
News sources have reported that the sound of several strong explosions was heard from the facilities and the main headquarters of Aramco in eastern Saudi Arabia. Despite the implicit confirmation of these attacks by the Saudi Civil Defense Organization, no precise information has yet been released regarding the casualties and damages inflicted on these facilities. These attacks were carried out following previous threats from Yemen to target key points in Saudi Arabia if attacks on Yemeni infrastructure continued.

Saudi Response and Regional Developments
These attacks come at a time when Saudi Arabia is conducting airstrikes on Yemeni infrastructure. In particular, Saudi fighter jets recently bombed an oil company in the Al-Sabha area located west of Sana'a. This situation reflects the increasing tensions between the two conflicting parties and Yemen's commitment to respond to any attacks on its territory. In 2015, Saudi Arabia imposed a comprehensive blockade on Yemen, which was supported by the United States. This blockade has severely impacted the humanitarian and economic situation in Yemen.
In recent months, Yemen Army forces have managed to gain control of strategic areas such as the port of Al-Mokha and the Khobob region through military operations. These developments have significantly increased Yemen's control over the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, one of the most important shipping routes in the world. Additionally, the recapture of strategic islands from Saudi-backed militants has helped strengthen Yemen's dominance over this waterway.
