Yahya Rahim Safavi, advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran, warned on Thursday about the possibility of the war expanding to the Indian Ocean if new attacks occur from the United States and Israel. Safavi stated in a video released by Fars News Agency: "As the clashes have expanded from the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz to the Red Sea, there is a possibility of the front of the war extending to the Indian Ocean and beyond."
Escalation of Tensions in the Region
These remarks come following an escalation of tensions in the region and new clashes between the Saudi coalition and the Houthis in Yemen. It is reported that the Houthis have fired six ballistic missiles towards Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi coalition has halted these attacks. Yahya Rahim Safavi emphasized that Iran is currently working on strengthening its deterrent power and believes that they have won this war.

Response to Military Threats
According to reports, the British military base Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, which is heavily used by the United States, may be a target for Iran. Iran has previously carried out attacks on this base. Safavi also added: "If the United States does not change its course, it will only make things harder for itself."
In light of these threats, the price of Brent oil has risen to around $106, negatively impacting hopes for reaching new agreements. Meanwhile, Iranian negotiators are emphasizing their firm positions to end the war and state that they will not compromise on their conditions.
