Touraj Dehghani, CEO of the Pars Oil and Gas Company, in a recent meeting with the CEO and board members of the National Iranian Oil Company, explained the latest status of production from the shared South Pars field. He also referred to the progress of development projects and the reconstruction operations of damaged refineries.

Increase in Gas Production Capacity

Dehghani pointed to the production performance of this company and said: In the past two years, 30 million cubic meters have been added to the stabilized production capacity of rich gas from the shared South Pars field. This increase in capacity is due to developmental and complementary activities in the development plan of Phase 11, infill, and the completion of 35-month plans. During this period, a record daily production of 730 million cubic meters of gas in South Pars has been registered, indicating the continuity of developmental and operational activities to maintain and increase production capacity from this shared field.

Increase in Drilling Fleet

The CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company also announced a significant increase in the drilling fleet for the company's projects, stating that the number of active rigs has increased from four to 13. With the support of the Ministry of Oil and the National Iranian Oil Company, three new rigs have been added to the country's drilling fleet, which is considered an important investment for developing drilling capacities and accelerating the implementation of development projects in the Persian Gulf.

Dehghani attributed these achievements to the efforts of a broad team of employees at Pars Oil and Gas Company and the support of the Ministry of Oil and the National Iranian Oil Company. He stated: These actions are the result of synergy and continuous efforts of colleagues in various operational, developmental, and administrative sectors.

Managing Challenges in Refinery Reconstruction

The CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company stated that this company bears a significant portion of the oil industry's responsibilities in gas production in the upstream sector, adding: In the past two years, alongside the implementation of developmental and production programs, it has also faced conditions arising from war and regional tensions. Following the damage to the Phase 14 refinery of South Pars during the 12-day war and also four other refineries during the imposed war, the responsibility for the reconstruction of three refinery complexes in the South Pars field was entrusted to this company.

He noted that all missions related to debris removal and reconstruction are classified as high-risk activities, stating: To manage risks accurately, weekly meetings are held at the refineries, and the reconstruction process is being carried out under continuous supervision of safety requirements and technical standards.

Dehghani expressed gratitude for the support of the Minister of Oil and the CEO and board members of the National Iranian Oil Company, saying: In recent months, this company has faced extensive challenges, but with the support of senior oil industry managers and the efforts of managers, experts, and employees, this organization has been able to pursue its missions diligently.

The CEO of Pars Oil and Gas Company emphasized: The achievements in production, development, drilling, and reconstruction are the result of the determination and efforts of employees who have diligently pursued their responsibilities under difficult conditions and continue to work to maintain production, develop the shared South Pars field, and fulfill the assigned missions in the oil industry.
