The Mahaan Operator Plan enables residential customers to register their consumption by installing an application and sending a daily image of their gas meter. This system utilizes artificial intelligence and considers factors such as weather conditions and the area of the residential unit to determine the suggested consumption volume, and customers who manage their consumption within the specified range benefit from cash incentives in their electronic wallet.

The Importance of Gas Consumption Management

Mahdi Nabiei, CEO of the Zanjan Gas Company, emphasized the importance of customer cooperation in energy consumption management, stating: "Maintaining the desired temperature in the home by reducing the temperature by just two degrees is a simple yet effective measure for saving gas consumption, which, with family participation, not only preserves comfort but also ensures sustainable access for fellow citizens to this valuable resource and secures the gas needed for various economic sectors."

The National Gas Network and Consumption Management

Nabiei further noted that the national gas network is interconnected, and consumption management in each home, alongside the actions of other customers, helps distribute this energy more appropriately across various sectors. He stated: "Today's battlefield has various arenas, one of the most important of which is the proper use of natural resources and its management. Iran is one of the largest holders of natural gas reserves in the world, and the correct utilization of this valuable capacity requires the active participation of all people."

The CEO of the Zanjan Gas Company also emphasized the necessity of consumption management in the upcoming cold months, saying: Despite the efforts made to restore lost production capacity during the imposed war, the conditions for gas supply have become more challenging compared to previous years, and in such circumstances, public participation in optimal gas consumption is even more critical.

Nabiei reminded that the aggregation of small actions by customers on a national scale can have a significant impact: "Even a limited reduction in the consumption of heating appliances, with widespread public cooperation, can help free up gas capacity for other sectors and create more opportunities for fellow citizens to benefit from this energy."
