Gholamreza Bagheri-Dizaj, the CEO of Isfahan Oil Refinery, in a press conference dedicated to reviewing the status of this refinery, announced the 112 trillion toman (one thousand billion tomans) claims of this refinery from the government until the end of August. He also referred to the continuity of production at the Isfahan refinery during wartime, stating that despite challenges, this refinery has not faced permanent damage in terms of continuous production.

Continuity of Production and Safety Challenges

Bagheri-Dizaj emphasized that some units of the refinery were temporarily taken offline to comply with safety requirements. However, he stressed that these issues did not hinder ongoing production, and the Isfahan refinery, given its existing infrastructure, has been able to continue its operations. This reflects the refinery's resilience and ability to manage crises.

Reducing Pollution and Securing Equipment

The CEO of Isfahan Oil Refinery also referred to the refinery's plans for reducing pollution. Bagheri-Dizaj announced that the recovery of flare gases has progressed to over 95%, and the monitoring systems for emissions from furnaces and control equipment have also been developed. These measures are aimed at reducing environmental impacts and improving air quality in the region.

He also mentioned the procurement of necessary equipment for the refinery, stating that a significant portion of this equipment is sourced domestically. However, specific equipment such as rotating equipment and compressors still needs to be sourced from abroad. This highlights the challenges in securing advanced industrial equipment domestically.

Finally, Bagheri-Dizaj emphasized the importance of mechanisms for settling claims and financing projects, stating that the 112 trillion toman claims of Isfahan Oil Refinery highlight the need for investment to implement development plans. He believes that these investments can help improve the refinery's performance and increase production capacity.
