Skuld, with the aim of enhancing the value provided to members, clients, and brokers, has announced new organizational changes. These changes, effective from November 1, 2026, are designed based on several years of sustainable and strong growth in products, markets, and geographies.

Changes in the Executive Management Team

As part of these changes, Skuld is adjusting its executive management team and optimizing its market organization. The new structure allows for the creation of larger and more resilient business units with broader market responsibilities, which will facilitate better coordination across regions and product lines.

Kristian Løberg will transition from Chief Financial Officer to Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO). At the same time, Skuld introduces Oda Bjerketvedt Norderud as the new Chief Financial Officer.

New Business Units and Global Leadership

Skuld will also establish global leadership roles in its core product areas. Lars Dueled will be appointed as Global Head of P&I, Paul Fry as Global Head of Hull, and Christofer Kobro as Global Head of Energy, all reporting to the CUO.

The new structure of Skuld's business units will include the following:

  • Skuld Nordic with teams in Oslo, Bergen, and Copenhagen, led by Kristoffer Kohmann.
  • Skuld Europe with teams in Oslo, Hamburg, and Piraeus, led temporarily by Lars Dueled.
  • Skuld UK and USA with teams in London and New York, led by Paul Fry.
  • Skuld Singapore and Japan with teams in Singapore and Tokyo, led by Nick March.
  • Skuld Hong Kong led by Patrick Wang.
  • Skuld Energy with teams in Oslo, London, and Singapore, led by Christofer Kobro.

As part of succession planning, the leadership transition in Skuld Hong Kong will take place in September 2027, with Wei Fan succeeding Patrick Wang as Head of the Hong Kong business unit. At that time, Patrick Wang will be appointed as Chairman of the Board of Skuld (Far East Region).

Ståle Hansen, President and CEO of Skuld, noted: "As Skuld approaches its 130th anniversary, it is exceptionally strong, and it is essential for our organization to evolve with its future growth prospects." He also added that these changes will enhance coordination and leverage expertise, providing a stronger platform for future growth.
