Follow-up on the Reconstruction of Refineries in Assaluyeh

Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mousa Ahmadi, representative of Kangan, Dir, Jam, and Assaluyeh in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, announced the visit of Hamid Bord, the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil, to Assaluyeh. During this visit, the concerns of officials and the public regarding the supply of winter fuel and gas needed for cold regions, as well as the damages inflicted on the refineries during the imposed war, were discussed.

Details of the Reconstruction Status and Gas Supply

Ahmadi pointed out that debris removal operations have been carried out and reports regarding the reconstruction process of the refineries have been received, stating: "Mr. Bord was previously the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, and some of the contracts and agreements related to the reconstruction were also concluded under his management." He emphasized that the Ministry of Oil is actively fulfilling its duties and following up on matters related to its managed entities.

The head of the Energy Commission of the Parliament also continued: "We have put all our efforts and capabilities into rebuilding the refineries as quickly as possible and bringing them back into operation." These statements reflect the strong determination and will of the Ministry of Oil to expedite the reconstruction process and meet the country's gas needs.

Field Visits and Achievements

Ahmadi further referred to the holding of meetings and field visits to all phases and units that had been damaged. After these visits, meetings were held with CEOs and contractors, and in these sessions, reports on the amount of debris removal and the progress of the reconstruction operations of each of the entities were presented.

He concluded by saying: "Given the reports provided about the reconstruction process and that nearly 100 million cubic meters of gas have been brought online, with more to come by early December, it can be hoped that, God willing, the anticipated limitations will be minimized." These statements indicate a positive outlook for meeting the country's gas needs and increase hopes for reducing winter-related problems.
