Ramin Hatami, at the oil and gas exploitation company meeting in Masjed Soleyman, pointed out the importance of developing oil fields and optimizing the use of existing capacities in these fields.
Various conditions of oil fields
Hatami noted that due to the differences in reservoir conditions, some fields have specific circumstances due to their production history and reservoir depletion volume. In contrast, young and pristine fields have high development potential, and optimal exploitation of them requires planning tailored to the characteristics of each field.

The CEO of the National Iranian South Oilfields Company, while appreciating the efforts of the company's staff in achieving 101% of the production plan in the first half of the year, described the actions taken in the renovation of facilities and pipelines as valuable. He mentioned the replacement of 30 kilometers of the oil pipeline and said: "Despite the obstacles and difficulties in the region, securing pipelines in difficult-to-access areas, including the Porsiah, Shiyan, and Lab-Sefid routes, has been one of the important actions of this company."
The necessity of strengthening developmental activities
Hatami emphasized the need to strengthen developmental activities in Masjed Soleyman, stating that it is necessary to revise developmental plans and define work packages suited to the conditions of the fields to facilitate more effective exploitation of existing capacities and private sector participation in project implementation.
He also considered determining the status of ready-to-produce wells and planning for the return of wells needing complementary actions to the production cycle as priorities for increasing production and emphasized examining the possibility of installing pumps in eligible wells.
Hatami further called for a review of production estimates and developmental plans for the Lali, Zilayi, and Balrud fields, as well as examining solutions to increase the exploitation of production capacities in the Lab-Sefid field. These actions are essential for optimizing production and enhancing the capacity of oil fields in the region.
