In this regard, Petroleum University is working to develop innovation and entrepreneurship centers and establish a business school so that idea owners can acquire not only technical knowledge but also the necessary skills to enter the business space and commercialize technological achievements.
This university, with a history of over eight decades, is considered one of the longstanding higher education institutions in the country in the field of oil and gas, and its main mission is to train specialized human resources familiar with the needs of the oil industry. Petroleum University, relying on its educational and research capacities, is active in training specialists, conducting problem-oriented research, and developing technologies required by the oil industry.
The development of a knowledge-based economy and the commercialization of research achievements are emphasized approaches in the oil industry.
