Kazem Jalali, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia, while referring to the outcomes of the President's visit to Moscow, announced that the Iranian embassy is fully committed to pursuing the operationalization of the agreements reached at the eighth summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

Achievements of the GECF Summit

This summit, attended by the leaders and high-ranking officials of GECF member countries, is considered an important opportunity to enhance Iran's energy diplomacy. During this gathering, various programs were proposed to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation in gas exports and other energy resources. Jalali noted that this strong presence and the intensive consultations of the President and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Oil have led to valuable achievements in developing energy diplomacy and enhancing Iran's role in the gas market.

Pursuing the Operationalization of Agreements

The Iranian embassy in Moscow has emphasized that all efforts will be made to operationalize these agreements. This action will not only help increase Iran's gas exports but could also strengthen strategic alliances with other countries. Especially considering the vast capacities of Iran's gas fields, these agreements could lead to an increase in Iran's share in the global gas market.

As one of the largest holders of natural gas reserves in the world, with a production capacity of over 270 billion cubic meters per year, Iran can play a key role in meeting global energy needs. Given the recent developments in the energy market, these actions could enhance Iran's credibility on the international stage and strengthen the country's position in the international gas market.
