Nouri Petrochemical, located in Bushehr province, has operationalized the Euro 6 diesel production project with the aim of improving fuel quality and reducing environmental pollution. This project, with a daily production capacity of 1,000 tons of Euro 6 diesel, is considered one of the clean fuels with high standards in the country.
Advancements in Clean Fuel Production
The production of Euro 6 diesel is being carried out for the first time in the country using the latest global technologies and the technical knowledge of domestic specialists. This initiative posed a significant challenge for Nouri Petrochemical due to the sanctions, which has been successfully accomplished. Euro 6 diesel, due to its reduction of pollutants and improvement of air quality, can be an effective step towards achieving the country's environmental goals.
Economic and Social Dimensions of the Project
The Euro 6 diesel production project not only strengthens the petrochemical industries but also, by improving the quality of consumed fuels, can have positive effects on public health and reduce healthcare costs arising from air pollution. Additionally, creating jobs for 300 people during the construction and operation of this project contributes to the economic growth of the region.
The CEO of Nouri Petrochemical expressed satisfaction with the realization of this project, stating that this success demonstrates the determination and will of domestic specialists in advancing large industrial projects in the country. Furthermore, this project can serve as a successful model for other industries in Iran.
