The NGL3100 feed gas sale contract was signed on behalf of the National Iranian Oil Company in the presence of Amir Moghiseh, the company's investment and business manager. This contract aims to collect, process, and sell associated gas from the Cheshmeh-Khosh, Dehloran, Azar, and Paydar Gharb fields.
Details of the Petro Refining Dehloran Complex
The Petro Refining Dehloran complex (NGL3100) is established on a 101-hectare land in the Dasht-Abbas and Cheshmeh-Khosh region of Ilam province and is engaged in the collection and processing of associated gas from the northern Dezful fields, including Dehloran, Danan, Azar, Cheshmeh-Khosh, and Paydar Gharb. The investment made for this complex by pension, savings, and welfare funds of oil industry employees is estimated to exceed one billion dollars.
Benefits of Implementing the Project
Implementing this project not only helps create added value through the processing of associated gas but also significantly contributes to the preservation of hydrocarbon resources and the reduction of pollutants resulting from the burning of associated gas by reducing the volume of gas sent to flares. This project can also help address gas imbalance.
The feed for this complex includes 120 million cubic feet of sour rich gas daily from the Dehloran, Danan, and Azar fields, 38 million cubic feet of sour rich gas from the Paydar Gharb field, 56 million cubic feet of sweet rich gas from the Cheshmeh-Khosh field, and 21 million cubic feet of sweet rich gas from the Paydar Gharb field. Some of this gas will be delivered to Petro Refining Dehloran as feed starting from August 2025, coinciding with the launch of this complex.
The products produced by the NGL3100 complex, upon receiving the full feed gas, will include 40,000 barrels (+C2), 850 barrels of gas condensate (+C5), 345 tons of granulated sulfur, and approximately 151 million cubic feet of sweet light gas (methane) daily.
This project can also contribute to the economic development of the region and create job opportunities in the deprived area of Dehloran by generating direct and indirect employment. According to the project information, direct employment for about one thousand people and indirect employment for about three thousand people is anticipated.
