The national campaign 'Iran-Jan, Central Iran' has reached Markazi Province, the land of sunshine and the cradle of the country's history and industry. In its eleventh stop, this campaign utilized the capacities of national and provincial broadcasting networks, executive agencies, and social media activists to present a profound and multifaceted narrative of the deep-rooted identity and industrial capabilities of this region to the public.

Introduction of Prominent Figures and Local Arts

This program focuses significantly on revisiting the historical background and introducing prominent figures who have shaped the political and cultural fate of Iran. Well-known personalities such as Imam Khomeini (RA), Mirza Taghi Khan Amir Kabir, Professor Mahmoud Hesabi, and Dr. Mohammad Gharib were honored at this event. Additionally, renowned figures in literature and art, such as Salman Savaji and Parvin E'tesami, were introduced as part of the cultural heritage of this land.

Markazi Province showcased a unique treasure of traditional arts with the activity of over 9,000 artists in about 100 handicraft fields. These activities have contributed to preserving intangible heritage and creating suitable grounds for the commercialization of products.

Industrial Capacities and Environmental Challenges

The industrial and economic landscape of Markazi Province, as one of the three main industrial hubs of the country, accounted for a significant portion of the media narrative 'Iran-Jan'. With over 4,000 active production units, this province has become the beating heart of heavy machinery production, refining equipment, and cement industries. This province supplies about 70% of the country's rail wagons and 30% of the country's pharmaceutical needs for capsule shells.

The Director General of Environmental Protection emphasized the necessity of enforcing the Clean Air Law and halting the use of mazut at this event. Environmental challenges such as air pollution in Arak and Shahzand were raised in these meetings to ensure that industrial development does not come at the expense of citizens' health.

In conclusion, this event served as a platform for expressing public demands and addressing issues by provincial officials and members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. The aim of this event is to expedite unfinished projects, attract investors, and find solutions for the unemployment of skilled youth.
