Mousa Ahmadi provided explanations about the achievements of the recent trip of the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil to Assaluyeh. He addressed the concerns of officials and the public regarding the supply of winter fuel and the gas needed for cold regions, and referred to the damages inflicted on refineries during the imposed war.

Debris Removal Operations and Refinery Reconstruction

Ahmadi stated that debris removal operations have been carried out in the affected complexes, and reports regarding the reconstruction of the refineries have also been provided. He also mentioned that Hamid Bord had signed part of the contracts and agreements related to the reconstruction during his management of the National Iranian Oil Company.

Field Progress and Return of Gas to Production

The Chairman of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly added: The Ministry of Oil is diligently fulfilling its duties and is following up on matters related to its subsidiary companies. He also noted that all efforts are being made to reconstruct the damaged refineries with the aim of returning them to the operational cycle.

Ahmadi emphasized that multiple field visits have been conducted to the affected areas, and meetings have been held with CEOs and contractors. In these meetings, the latest status of debris removal and the progress of reconstruction operations have been reviewed.

He continued: Given the reports provided about the reconstruction process and the return of nearly 100 million cubic meters of gas per day to the production cycle, it is expected that by early December, greater capacity will also return to the production circuit, thereby minimizing the anticipated winter restrictions.
