Mostafa Nakhai, a member of the Energy Commission of the Parliament, in an interview with Shana reporter, examined the performance of the Ministry of Oil in the field of reconstructing oil facilities and the existing challenges in the oil industry. He emphasized the need for precise oversight of the performance of the agencies and said: "The performance of no individual or agency can be considered completely free of flaws without thorough examination."

Positive Actions of the Ministry of Oil

Nakhai emphasized that the Ministry of Oil has made significant actions in many areas, stating: "These actions are particularly important in conditions where the oil industry is facing various limitations and pressures." He also referred to the role of energy security in the economy, production, employment, and national security of the country, adding: "Today, the country needs to strengthen the energy sector more than ever."

Collaboration Between Agencies to Strengthen Infrastructure

He emphasized that energy security is directly related to the economy and national security, and therefore all agencies, the government, and the parliament must cooperate to resolve issues and strengthen the country's energy infrastructure. Nakhai stated that the parliament is fulfilling its oversight duty, adding: "Any ambiguity must be examined, but alongside oversight, support for effective actions and helping to strengthen the oil industry is also essential."

Nakhai also referred to the challenges facing the oil industry and said: "Currently, the Ministry of Oil needs more support to be able to take steps towards strengthening infrastructure and improving its performance." This parliament representative stressed the importance of cooperation between the parliament and the Ministry of Oil, stating: "Efforts to improve the current conditions and resolve issues must be prioritized so that the country's oil industry can achieve its true position."
