The Necessity for the Ministry of Oil to Lead in Technology Development
The First Vice President, referring to the approval of 117 projects in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors, emphasized that the Ministry of Oil must be at the forefront of implementing these programs. He advised the new head of the Ministry of Oil to strengthen the ministry's connection with universities and train efficient human resources, adding that today's wars are technology wars.
Aref also pointed to the importance of reconstructing industries damaged in the recent two imposed wars and emphasized that this reconstruction should be accompanied by modernization and improvement. Concerns About Sanctions and Future Plans
He continued by stating that there are no concerns about sanctions, asserting that the country has become resilient against them. Aref also noted that budget dependency on oil should be reduced, and this policy should be pursued with greater urgency.
