Mohammad Mahdi Tosali Pour, the representative of the CEO in the South Pars pressure boosting project and the executor of hubs 2 and 5, along with the head of hubs 3 and 6, assessed the technical and industrial capabilities of this group for participation in the execution of the South Pars pressure boosting project during a visit to one of the subsidiaries of MAPNA Group.
Challenges and Opportunities in the Pressure Boosting Project
Tosali Pour, during this visit, pointed out the process of studies, negotiations, and follow-ups to advance the pressure boosting project in previous years, identifying financial resource provision as one of the significant challenges facing projects aimed at maintaining and sustaining production. He stated: "Given the strategic position of South Pars in supplying the country's energy and the significant share of this field in natural gas production, we cannot be indifferent to the effects of reservoir pressure drop on the continuity of production."

Economic Council Resolution and Project Implementation Stages
The executor of the South Pars pressure boosting project referred to the issuance of the Economic Council resolution in August this year, adding: "In this resolution, prioritizing border hubs, financial resources for the implementation of the project have been forecasted, which can facilitate the advancement of the project's implementation stages." These actions are planned to accelerate the execution of the pressure boosting project and compensate for the reservoir pressure drop.
Tosali Pour also mentioned the necessity of revising some implementation programs affected by the consequences of the two recent wars and stated: "By revising the output of the reservoir model software and examining the new production conditions, the phased implementation of the project and the initiation of operations in priority sectors have been put on the agenda."
This approach facilitates the alignment of implementation programs with the new conditions of the field and focuses on the sections that are more important for maintaining the gas production capacity from the South Pars joint field.
