Masoud Pezeshkian, in a brainstorming session with members of the Assembly of Representatives of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, considered energy conservation and consumption control as fundamental requirements of the country in the current situation. He stated: "By managing energy consumption and increasing efficiency, the revenue generated can be utilized to improve people's livelihoods."

The Necessity of Continuing Production Activities

Pezeshkian also emphasized the necessity of continuing the activities of production sectors and businesses, stating: "We are pursuing to ensure that electricity and energy to production units and businesses are not cut off so that the production wheel keeps turning and no one in society becomes unemployed." These remarks come at a time when the country is facing serious economic and social challenges, and the need to maintain employment and production is felt more than ever.

The Role of Parliament in Budget Reform

The President considered the role of Parliament in reforming the budgeting system to be very important and added: "Members of Parliament can, in interaction with the government, review unnecessary organizations and sectors in the budgeting system." This action can help improve the economic structure of the country and direct financial resources towards priority projects.

Pezeshkian, referring to the country's conditions due to war and sanctions, deemed the resolution of economic and social problems to require operational and executable plans and emphasized: "To overcome the problems, we must utilize the capacities of all institutions and segments of society and create an environment for cooperation and synergy."

Maintaining National Unity

The President emphasized the necessity of maintaining national unity and avoiding confrontation, stating: "We hope that a movement of interaction and synergy will take shape, and instead of disputes over issues, matters will be pursued in coordination." These remarks are aimed at creating a sympathetic and inclusive atmosphere for solving the country's problems.

Pezeshkian, emphasizing the importance of utilizing operational and cross-party plans to solve the country's problems, reminded: "Improving people's livelihoods and the economic situation is the government's main priority, and achieving this goal requires the cooperation and synergy of all institutions and segments of society."

He also stressed the necessity of coordination among institutions and utilizing the capacities of Parliament representatives and other sectors of the country to advance this goal, noting: "In the current situation, confrontation and disagreement do not help solve the country's issues, and we must act with cooperation, synergy, and the utilization of various capacities to address problems."
