Masoud Behzadian, at the East Azerbaijan Planning and Development Council meeting, pointed to the damage caused by the war to the country's energy infrastructure and industrial sectors, stating: "Despite the attacks on gas facilities, power plants, and factories, we are determined to ensure that the supply of gas and electricity needed for production in the winter season does not face problems with the help of the people and managers."
The necessity of gas consumption management
Behzadian emphasized the necessity for households to cooperate with the country's production sector, adding: "If we manage gas consumption at home by dressing warmer while allowing the energy needed for factories and production units to be supplied, we have contributed to preserving employment, sustaining production, and ensuring the stability of the country's industry." He also referred to the halt in production and its consequences on employment and industrial activity, saying: "The issue is not just keeping homes warm; we must pay attention to the fact that halting production leads to damage to employment and industrial activity, ultimately creating more problems for society."

Gas imbalance in the country
The President continued by explaining part of the gas imbalance in the country, stating: "During the imposed war, about 230 million cubic meters of the country's gas production capacity was damaged. Meanwhile, we were already facing a daily imbalance of about 300 million cubic meters." He added: "So far, we have managed to bring about 100 million cubic meters of the damaged capacity back into the cycle, and still, about 130 million cubic meters of this capacity is out of reach; alongside that, the previous imbalance still exists."
Behzadian emphasized that the government, alongside managing consumption, is also working to address deficiencies and increase energy production capacity to prevent limitations in energy supply as much as possible. He also expressed gratitude to economic activists and producers, including members of the Chamber of Commerce and guilds, saying: "I sincerely thank all producers, industrialists, and guilds who strive to continue the country's economic activities despite existing problems."
Furthermore, Behzadian referred to the government's efforts to maintain gas production capacity and ensure the electricity and gas needed for production and industry under various conditions, expressing hope that with God's help and the solidarity of the people and officials, existing problems will be resolved.
