Jalal Hamahoseni, the manager of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in the Kurdistan region, pointed out the economic and environmental benefits of replacing CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) with gasoline, announcing that the consumption of this clean fuel in the province has reached 58 million cubic meters. He emphasized that this change not only brings economic savings but also helps reduce environmental pollutants.

Activity of 52 CNG Stations

Hamahoseni mentioned the operation of 52 CNG stations in the Kurdistan province, adding: "Technical experts in the region continuously monitor the performance and technical equipment of the stations to provide optimal services to citizens." This reflects the company's commitment to service quality and safety in fuel supply to applicants.

Increase in CNG Consumption After Gasoline Price Change

The manager of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in the Kurdistan region referred to the increase in CNG consumption in the province following the implementation of the emergency gasoline card price change plan in September this year. He stated that there is now a suitable capacity to provide services at the CNG stations in the province.

Hamahoseni also reported the operation of 336 nozzles at the CNG stations in the province and reminded that: "The monitoring and validation plan for fuel dispensing pumps at all stations has been carried out and their health certificates have been received from the Standards Organization." These measures are aimed at improving service quality and increasing citizens' confidence in using CNG fuel.

Overall, the use of CNG as an alternative fuel not only helps reduce household costs but also contributes to environmental preservation and the reduction of air pollutants. In this regard, efforts to expand CNG stations and improve service quality continue.
