The coalition led by Saudi Arabia, which is at war with Houthi militants in Yemen, reported on Tuesday evening the interception of several missiles over Riyadh. The debris from two intercepted Houthi missiles resulted in injuries to four people in the Saudi capital.

Attacks on Aramco Oil Facilities

According to a Saudi Ministry of Energy official, on Tuesday evening, an office building belonging to Aramco in Dhahran was targeted. This attack led to a limited fire, but fortunately, there were no fatalities or injuries. The Saudi Civil Defense Organization reported that four people, including two women, one man, and one child, were injured due to the debris from the intercepted Houthi missiles in Riyadh, and 15 houses were also damaged.

Saudi Coalition's Response to Houthi Attacks

On Tuesday, the Saudi coalition responded to the deadliest attack on Saudi territory in recent years by targeting oil facilities in various regions of western Yemen. Turki Al-Maliki, the coalition spokesperson, announced on the social media platform X that these attacks targeted facilities in Sanaa and the western provinces of Dhamar and Saada, which the Houthis used to meet their war needs and threaten Saudi Arabia and waterways.

A loud explosion was heard in Riyadh, and phone alerts were sent to residents informing them that the city was facing a hostile aerial threat. The Saudi coalition also issued an evacuation order for residents for the first time since the resumption of hostilities in the region.

An international news agency reporter in Sanaa reported explosions, and the Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah TV described the attack as "Saudi aggression" and stated that the oil company was targeted.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, reacted to these attacks, describing them as "a deliberate attempt to raise oil prices." He also stated that these attacks were likely carried out at Iran's direction. Trump recalled last year's U.S. attacks on the Houthis, saying, "The Houthis have very bad behavior, and I thought they learned their lesson from last year's heavy bombings."

He also expressed his concerns about rising oil prices ahead of the U.S. elections, saying, "The Houthis have emerged in a very ugly way and are attacking Saudi Arabia."
