Hamidreza Azizi Farsani, referring to the meetings of the Energy Commission of the Parliament and the Task Force for Energy Imbalance Resolution, stated that ensuring fuel supply for power plants at the onset of the cold season is one of the main priorities for decision-makers. He added: "The Energy Commission of the Parliament has placed precise monitoring of the second fuel supply lines on its agenda to operationalize the strategy of maximum reliance on alternative fuel to maintain the stability of the country's electricity production capacity."
Status of Liquid Fuel Storage in Power Plants
Azizi Farsani clarified regarding the status of liquid fuel storage in power plants: "The fuel basket of the country's power plants is adjusted according to weather conditions and the amount of gas delivered." According to the arrangements made in the Task Force for Energy Imbalance Resolution and the unified management established in the government, appropriate measures have been taken to complete strategic storage.

Storage Statistics and Energy Consumption Management Plans
A member of the Energy Commission of the Parliament added: "According to the latest statistics, the fuel reservoirs of the country's power plants are currently in good condition. This level of storage has created a high level of reliance and assurance so that with the joint planning of the Ministries of Oil and Energy, we can pass the upcoming winter with minimal issues."
Azizi Farsani also stated: "Considering that energy consumption management plans have started from the government and executive bodies, all organizations and departments are required to reduce energy consumption, and this process is continuously monitored."
He emphasized: "Sustainable energy supply during the cold days of the year requires comprehensive solidarity. Although officials have put all their efforts into enhancing production capacities and fuel storage, successfully and worry-free passing through the winter season is only possible if everyone contributes to the stability of the gas and electricity network through smart conservation."
