Hamid Bord, the caretaker of the Iranian Ministry of Oil, has recently begun his responsibilities following the resignation of Engineer Mohsen Paknejad and has traveled to Bushehr province and Assaluyeh on his first domestic trip.

Visit to Assaluyeh and Gas Facilities

Bord, during this trip, highlighted the importance of Assaluyeh as the beating heart of Iran's energy. He stated that this region has become a gateway for millions of Iranian citizens and industrialists to access natural gas and petrochemical products due to over 25 years of investment and efforts.

The caretaker of the Ministry of Oil said: "Attacks on the country's energy facilities in Kangan, Assaluyeh, and Mahshahr, as symbols of Iran's development after the revolution, have no other aim than to disrupt the public life of citizens." Bord also emphasized the key role of oil industry workers and Iranian contractors in the reconstruction of facilities.

Revival of 100 million cubic meters of gas production capacity

Furthermore, Hamid Bord announced the revival of 100 million cubic meters of gas production capacity in just six months. He referred to the progress in the reconstruction of four gas refineries in Assaluyeh that were damaged in recent attacks, stating that the reconstruction work in the gas and petrochemical sector has exceeded usual programmatic forecasts.

Bord noted that the major repairs of refineries and platforms are also proceeding according to plan, and strategic measures for managing the country's energy in the cold season have been taken. He emphasized that without relying on the "iron will of the nation," no program or management method could have achieved these accomplishments.

In conclusion, Hamid Bord referred to the will of the Iranian nation to build the homeland and optimize energy consumption, calling for a habit of efficient energy use during the cold season. He also expressed respect for the armed forces and oil industry workers who are working under difficult conditions.

He introduced Assaluyeh as the steadfast pillar of the future architecture of the oil industry and emphasized Iran's determination to recreate and reconstruct this symbol of dignity.
