Engineer Mohsen Paknezhad has been appointed as the caretaker of Iran's Ministry of Oil and during his first trip to the land of the maritime border guards of Iran, Bushehr province and Assaluyeh, he visited the reconstruction process of oil facilities. Assaluyeh has become the beating heart of Iran's energy over the past quarter-century as a key point for the country's energy development.

The Impact of Assaluyeh on Iran's Oil Industry

The development achieved in Assaluyeh has made it easier for millions of citizens to access natural gas and petrochemical products. These facilities have not only influenced the flow of life in Iranian society but have also been targeted during the imposed war. Engineer Paknezhad emphasized that attacks on the country's energy facilities are, in fact, attacks on the symbols of Iran's development, built by Iranians with Iranian will.

Reconstruction and Revival of Production Capacities

Engineer Paknezhad also reported on the reconstruction progress in four gas refineries in Assaluyeh and announced that within 6 months, 100 million cubic meters of the country's gas production capacity has been revived. He noted that under the command of Dr. Pezeshkian and the dedication of oil industry staff and Iranian contractors, the reconstruction of facilities has significantly exceeded normal programmatic forecasts. Additionally, the annual maintenance work of refineries and platforms has been carried out as planned, and strategic measures for managing the country's energy in the cold season have been adopted.

As a servant of Iran who has been active in the country's oil industry for nearly 35 years, Engineer Paknezhad emphasized that no management program could have achieved such accomplishments without relying on national will. He referred to the patriotic spirit and the people's determination to build and reconstruct damaged facilities, stressing that this will must be accompanied by cultural actions in the field of optimizing energy consumption.

In conclusion, Engineer Paknezhad regarded his presence in Assaluyeh as a tribute to the armed forces and the workers and engineers who have continued to build the homeland under the most difficult conditions. He introduced the oil industry as a steadfast pillar in the architecture of the country's economic future and expressed hope that with Iranian will, the re-creation of this symbol of the dignity of the oil industry will be realized.
