Abdolqasem Irani, the operations manager of the East Oil and Gas Production Company, announced that the company is currently producing gas from 64 active wells in the Khanguiran, Gonbadli, and Tous fields. The production capacity of this region reaches about 65 million cubic meters of gas per day, which peaks during high consumption periods.
Major repair program and winter readiness
Irani pointed out that 33 wells in the Khanguiran field and 2 wells in the Gonbadli field are active, and he announced the entry of new wells into the production cycle and an increase in production capacity. He further referred to this year's major repair program, stating that these operations are being conducted with greater coordination and in an intensive schedule to maintain production readiness for the cold season.

Repairs are simultaneously underway at collection centers, measurement centers, and several wells, with operational teams working around the clock. In these operations, mechanical and electrical sections, electrical and control panels, UPS systems, and other process equipment are being inspected and repaired.
Central collection and gas transfer center
Irani also referred to the central collection center of the Mazdooran and stated that this center is one of the key points in the gas production and transfer chain of the Khanguiran region. About 18 wells are connected to this center through 22 lines, and two-thirds of the gas produced from the Mazdooran reservoir, equivalent to nearly 30 million cubic meters per day, is collected at this center.
After collection, the gas is transferred to the measurement center through two 16-inch lines and four 14-inch lines, and after separating liquids, it is delivered to the Shahid Hashemi Nejad gas refinery through five 20-inch lines. During the peak winter production period, the gas delivery from this route reaches about 44 million cubic meters per day.
The operations manager of the East Oil and Gas Production Company also stated that the equipment at the Mazdooran collection center has been reviewed based on the results of technical inspections, identifying issues such as thickness reduction and the need for material adjustments.
Major repairs at this center include leaky valves, seat valves, and equipment requiring adjustment, which will return to the production cycle after preparation. Additionally, electrical substations and control panels will also be repaired during this period.
Irani finally referred to the region's performance last winter, stating that production continued without unintended shutdowns, and the production and injection wells of Shorijeh D operated according to plan. The development of new wells is also being pursued alongside major repairs.
