Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company has started designing its second step towards sustainable development and improving environmental conditions by creating the HCS model. This model is implemented to strengthen human capital and establish a connection between knowledge and practice in the organization's real environment.
Strategic Perspective on Sustainable Development
Masoud Gashtasbi, the head of public relations at Gachsaran Oil and Gas Company, emphasized the importance of sustainability beyond technical and environmental dimensions, highlighting the role of humans and their capacities as strategic assets in the continuity of development. He stated that support for applied research and the transformation of knowledge into actionable solutions is pursued in line with this approach.

Development of a New Research Model
The HCS model, with a research-oriented and evidence-based approach, emphasizes the connection between problem recognition, capacity development, mentoring, coaching, feedback, and evaluation. This model aligns with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and is directly linked to sustainable development goals including quality education, gender equality, decent work and economic growth, reducing inequalities, and peace and justice.
Gashtasbi clarified that with the completion of the first phase and the formation of the initial version of the HCS model, the design of the second phase will be undertaken with a broader and mixed target community. In this stage, instead of repeating the first phase model, a pathology of the new community will be addressed to design a development path that aligns with real needs and gaps.
This approach reflects the company's continued systematic view of sustainable development, which has expanded from environmental sustainability to human capital and can pave the way for improving quality of life and working conditions within the organization.
