Fatemeh Mohajerani, the government spokesperson, at a press conference held today (Tuesday, September 24), reviewed the status of gasoline consumption in the country and announced that daily gasoline consumption in Iran has reached about 140 million liters. This figure indicates an increase in demand for fuel in the country, and Mohajerani emphasized at this meeting that no price changes in this regard will be made without informing the public.
Gasoline Production and Consumption Status
Mohajerani further added: "All domestically produced gasoline will be made available to the public." According to her, if domestic gasoline consumption is between 100 to 110 million liters, this need can be easily met. However, given that current consumption is above this level, it is necessary to bring additional resources into the cycle to meet consumer needs.

Resource Provision and Consumption Management
The government spokesperson also stated that currently there is no need to reduce the gasoline quotas for the first and second categories. She expressed: "We hope there will be no need to reduce gasoline quotas, but absolutely no decision will be made without informing the public." These remarks come at a time when monitoring gasoline consumption and managing its resources is considered one of the major challenges in the country's oil and energy industry.
In the current situation, where the country is striving to cope with sanctions and international restrictions, maintaining a balance between gasoline supply and demand is of great importance. Additionally, considering the rising global energy prices, optimal management of gasoline consumption and securing the necessary resources for it can help stabilize the country's economy.
