Hadi Akhlaqi, on the sidelines of the visit by the head of the Ministry of Oil to the damaged South Pars refineries, pointed out that part of the production capacity of these refineries has been damaged due to recent attacks, stating that restoring these refineries to the production cycle has been a priority for the Ministry of Oil since the beginning of this year.
Condition of South Pars Refineries

He also referred to the financing of the third South Pars refinery project, which pertains to phases 4 and 5, stating: "Bank Tejarat is responsible for financing this project. Given the financial supply issues and their impact on the project's execution process, a meeting was held with the presence of contractors and representatives from the two financing banks."
Decisions to Facilitate Projects
The CEO of Bank Tejarat reviewed the views and issues raised by contractors and financial suppliers at this meeting and made decisions to facilitate and expedite the implementation of projects for phases 4 and 5, as well as phases 7, 8, and 9 of South Pars. Akhlaqi, referring to Bank Tejarat's responsibility in financing these projects, said: "With the signing of the financing contract, the groundwork has been laid for accelerating payments to contractors so that the project's execution can proceed more swiftly."
In this regard, Hamid Bord, the head of the Ministry of Oil, on Tuesday (October 13), along with Araslan Zare, the governor of Bushehr, and Mousa Ahmadi, the head of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, visited the damaged South Pars refineries and the Jam and Mobin Energy Petrochemical complexes. Bord examined the reconstruction process and the actions taken to revive the damaged sections of these refineries during this visit.
Given the importance of these projects in supplying the country's energy and restoring production capacity to an optimal level, facilitating the financing process and collaborating with contractors is of special significance. The South Pars refineries, with a significant daily production capacity, play a key role in meeting domestic needs and exporting energy.
