Massoud Pezeshkian, the President, emphasized the necessity of optimal energy management in all institutions during the evaluation and monitoring ceremony of the Parliamentary Affairs Department, ministries, and executive agencies. He stated that all executive agencies must manage energy consumption in a way that prevents power or gas cuts to industries.
Institutionalizing the Culture of Energy Consumption
Pezeshkian further added: "Institutionalizing the culture of proper energy consumption is one of the strategic goals of the government in managing the country. To create behavioral change, I will lead by example, and I have ordered that cooling and heating energy and electricity be cut off in rooms that are not in use." He emphasized that each of us must take a step towards reforming consumption patterns and reducing them.

The President, referring to the duties of a Muslim person, stated: "Our duty is to care for our fellow human beings. In the path of serving the community, improving people's livelihoods and changing their living standards, we will prepare the ground and fulfill our responsibilities." He added that public dissatisfaction arises from neglecting them, and if we have a clear goal and solution to overcome societal problems, dissatisfaction will never arise.

During this ceremony, the performance of executive agencies in managing energy consumption was reviewed, and the agencies presented reports on the actions taken. Emphasizing the reform of energy consumption patterns in government agencies can help reduce costs and optimize resources, ultimately benefiting industry and society.
