The deposit of over 4 trillion rials from border fuel sales revenue into the treasury of the Kermanshah government has been recorded as an important economic achievement this year. This action has not only contributed to increasing government revenues but has also been effective in reducing fuel smuggling and boosting border markets.

Details of petroleum product sales

Peyman Bahrami, the director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in Kermanshah, announced that in the first 186 days of this year, approximately 6.7 million liters of petroleum products worth over 4,169 billion rials were sold at the borders of Parvizkhan, Khosravi, Somar, Shushmi, and Sheikh Saleh. Among these, the Parvizkhan border accounted for the highest sales.

Role in reducing smuggling and boosting border markets

According to Bahrami, these actions, in addition to boosting border markets, have had a significant impact on reducing fuel smuggling and off-network fuel supply. On average, about 8 million liters of various petroleum products are transported daily in Kermanshah province through 360 active tankers. This transportation not only helps meet domestic market needs but also increases government revenues.

Gasoline sales and vehicle tank control

The director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company in Kermanshah also referred to gasoline sales through controlling the tanks of vehicles exiting the country, stating that out of the total border sales, approximately 93,000 liters were allocated to this section. This action has helped improve control and optimize fuel distribution at the borders.

Digital dip system and fuel monitoring

Bahrami also mentioned the launch of a digital dip system for measuring truck tanks at the province's borders. By utilizing this system, the control of truck tanks has been facilitated, and the monitoring process of fuel exiting through the tanks of heavy export vehicles is carried out in the shortest possible time. Based on the floating border price, the amounts related to fuel are calculated and deposited into the treasury account of the government.
