The CEO of Bidboland Refinery emphasized that this refinery is an unconditional supporter of knowledge-based companies and Iranian specialists. All stages from design and engineering to equipment selection and implementation at this refinery have been carried out based on domestic capacities. This success demonstrates the reality that with trust in human resources, there is no obstacle to optimizing complex industrial processes.
Energy Savings and Optimization
Pourreza pointed out key projects such as the "First Load" and collaboration with knowledge-based companies, stating that this refinery has taken significant steps in localizing bottleneck equipment and chemicals. These actions have led to an increase in production stability and a reduction in dependence on foreign equipment.
Energy management at Bidboland Refinery is considered a strategic belief. Pourreza said: "By identifying energy waste bottlenecks and leveraging the creativity of domestic elites, operational efficiency can be significantly enhanced." The optimization project for cooling pumps is an example of this approach, which will result in an annual saving of 1,800 megawatt-hours of electricity.
This amount of savings is equivalent to the electricity consumption of 500 households in a year and will impact community welfare and the sustainability of the national grid. Small actions in the industry can lead to significant changes, and this project reflects the determination of Bidboland engineers to turn the threat of excessive energy consumption into an opportunity for excellence and self-confidence.
