Ayatollah Gholamali Safaei Bushehri, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Bushehr province and the Friday prayer leader of this city, emphasized the importance of the social responsibility of industries during a meeting with provincial officials today. He stated that industries should actively take steps to improve the infrastructure of Bushehr province and respond to the social and environmental needs of this region.
The Necessity of Attention to Social Infrastructure
Safaei Bushehri, in this meeting, pointed out the high capacities of Bushehr province in the fields of oil and gas, stressing the need for industries to focus on improving social infrastructure, especially in the areas of education, health, and the environment. He said: "Industries must take their social responsibilities seriously as key players in the sustainable development of the province and collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations. For example, establishing educational and health centers in areas affected by industrial activities can improve the quality of life for people."

The Friday prayer leader of Bushehr also emphasized the necessity of collaboration between industries and social and cultural institutions, adding: "We must strive to make industries part of the solutions to social problems. He also referred to the immense capacities of the oil and gas sector in Bushehr province and noted that these capacities could be effective in financing social projects and developing the province's infrastructure. Safaei Bushehri stated: "Bushehr, as an oil-rich province, must utilize these resources in a way that contributes not only to economic progress but also to the social and cultural growth of the region."
The representative of the Supreme Leader in the province further suggested that officials create specific and organized programs for interaction with industries and closely monitor the social activities of industries. He emphasized: "Transparency and accountability in the activities of industries must be increased so that people can benefit from the positive effects of these activities."
At the end, Ayatollah Safaei Bushehri stated that the social responsibility of industries should be prioritized as a moral and social necessity, and all stakeholders must strive to achieve this important goal.
